Katie Baptiste - Founder
Katie Baptiste is the founder of Better Call Katie, LLC, a consulting company that provides accounting, payroll, operations management, and HR services to small businesses. Katie began her career as a field representative training local bookkeepers and office managers for the Teamsters Union. She quickly realized she enjoyed the work herself and became a consultant for several businesses.
After over a decade of management and accounting experience, Katie started Better Call Katie in 2015 in order to continue with her interest in business management consulting while raising a family. BCK provides bookkeeping, payroll, operations management, and HR support to companies in diverse fields, from fundraisers and lobbyists to a large media group.
Katie is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and is proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Intuit Payroll, and Gusto Payroll.
Katie is originally from the Boston, MA area and has five (yes, you read that correctly, five!) sons under the age of 9. She attended Skidmore College and received a master’s degree in French Cultural Studies from Columbia University.
